A number of new User Groups have started around the world supporting Power and AIX users. The following is a summary of these groups:

Power Linux Unix Group (PLUG) - Covering Austin & San Antonio TX. Unix System Administrators who support IBM power boxes running AIX and Linux.

Houston AIX/Linux Users Group - Covering Houston TX. The Houston pSeries Users Group is a non-sales group of those interested in AIX and Linux that gather for technical discussions between the members of the group and each other, vendors, and other technical resources.

Dallas PowerAIX Users Group - Covering Dallas, Fort Worth, Richardson, Plano, Addison, Garland, Mesquite, Arlington and Grand Prarie TX. The Dallas PowerAIX Users Group is a fraternity of AIX and pSeries professionals from the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

Indian PowerAIX User Group - The Indian PowerAIX User Group brings Power and AIX interested people in India into a single forum for discussing, debating, learning and exchanging ideas, knowledge, experience on AIX and/or Power and related technologies.

Datatrend's AIX User Group - Members welcome from all of North America. User group meetings held via interactive webinars (continent-wide participation) and physical gatherings in locations such as Minnesota, Florida, and the Washington DC area. IBM Upstate user group - Covering all areas in the Upstate of South Carolina. We are working with all IBM customers in the upstate - I, P, X, Blades, storage and software.
