The Philadelphia Power Users Group (PPUG) lead by Dave Waters Senior Systems Architect of ATS Group, had another successful meeting discussing future Power-based technologies. There were twelve attendees out of the forty-one members. The next PPUG meeting is planned for May 15. The topic of discussion is Single-Sign on solutions using LDAP/Active Directory Servers.  The topic of interest will focus on how to overcome mismatching userids and groups across different AIX systems.

Congratulations to Rob McNelly the winner of the first poweraix.org "Best Article on Systems Administration/Performance Tips" Contest!
Rob McNelly got his first big break in 1988 when he started working with three IBM AS/400's as a computer operator. Although he still remembers OS/400 fondly, he now spends most of his time with AIX on the pSeries. He spent six years with IBM Global Services, and is now working for a large American retail organization maintaining their AIX and Linux machines. He is an RHCE and a CATE. He enjoys getting feedback from readers and can be reached at rob.mcnelly@g mail.com.
