PowerAIX.org is the information hub of the Global Power AIX Community comprising of user communities, partners, IT professionals and business users. It offers a forum for participants to communicate experiences, ideas and technical expertise related to the use of IBM AIX 5L products and related issues.

Vision Statement
Promote the effective use of AIX implementations and solutions through an active collaborative community of customers, partners and IT professionals.

Mission Statement
Provide a forum to:

1. Communicate openly, express ideas and share experiences
2. Present educational opportunities and IBM / BusinessPartner solutions available in the market
3. Provide paths to technical expertise related to the use of IBM AIX 5L family of products, solutions and related products and services.
4. Continually engage a broad set of supporting participants to ensure the maximum amount of value is derived for the user group community and members.

PowerAIX.org is managed on behalf of IBM by Group Intelligence, Inc (GI). GI provides technology collaboration services that help (i) vendors create collaborative communities of customers and business partners, (ii) vendors with new ways to sell technology solutions, including with partners, and (iii) enterprise technology users manage vendor and technology information more effectively.

PowerAIX.org Steering Committee
PowerAIX.org has a Steering Committee, established to advise GI and IBM on tactical and strategic initiatives and activities that will increase the value of the Global PowerAIX Community for the stakeholders.

To foster the creation a world-class global community for IBM AIX users, in which members derive significant value.
